Your Visit

Welcome to the Bealey Centre and the following information about your appointments.

When you arrive please take a seat in the waiting room. There is a toilet clearly marked in the hall.

Please note, the Bealey Centre is up one flight of stairs. There is no lift in the building. If you are unable to use stairs please tell your psychologist so a downstairs room can be made available.

Sessions are usually 50 minutes long.  If you have any particular needs or requirements please let us know and we will always do our very best to accommodate these.

Most clients have at least some ongoing sessions, and these are usually scheduled on a weekly basis.  Your psychologist will discuss with you the likely length of the therapy before it begins.

Cancellations or changes of appointments should be done as early as possible to avoid unnecessary inconvenience or cancellation charges.  If you miss an appointment or cancel just before your scheduled time you may be charged all or part of the session.  Very occasionally an emergency situation arises for the psychologist and it may be necessary to change an appointment with you.  In this case, every effort will be made to contact you at the earliest possible time.

Payment is appreciated after each session before you leave unless other arrangements have been made.  We have EFTPOS but no credit card facility. Please ask if you want a GST receipt.
